From the moment you step through the door of the old Georgian building, you’re welcomed by a warm, green reception area that sets the tone for the entire space. Through a large doorway lies a luxurious yet homely boardroom, exuding an atmosphere of security and comfort.

Anchorpoint Interiors, appointed by the company to oversee the design and fit out of the new workspace, designed this workplace in consistency with London office, similarly prioritizing wellbeing, while enhancing meeting and social spaces by adding more areas that promote collaboration and foster engagement. There are a number of the same colors, patterns, and furniture pieces across both workspaces, enhancing the brand consistency, and sense of universality.

Based in a classic Georgian building, the office maximizes its location with large windows that offer sweeping views of the historic city of Edinburgh, creating a seamless link between the company’s global presence and local heritage.

Spacestor were able to partner with Anchorpoint Interiors to support this brand experience, with our ultra-customizable solutions, ranging from storage to seating and dividers. Spacestor’s broad range of products and use cases also allows a variety of flexible work settings.

Our Railway Carriage Banquette provides an open space that is connected to the buzz of the office, but where small groups can touchdown to collaborate and synchronize efforts in a semi-enclosed space. Alternatively, these same Banquettes are perfect for employees that want to have a more focused area, where less distractions are around them, but that they can still work alongside someone else when necessary. These were specified in neutral shades of a light wood cladding, and light grey upholstery, which allows them to fit in seamlessly with the aesthetic of the space. They provide a comfortable and more couch-like seating area, which contributes to the homely and easy-going feel of this modern office.

Spacestor’s HotLockers were also specified on this project, with a configuration that includes extra storage, such as pigeon holes and more open storage, alongside the secure locker system. In today’s workplace, especially in an office like this one, where there are a number of hot-desking opportunities, many employees do not want to be carrying all of their belongings around with them, so HotLockers give a secure and smart storage system, without keys that are easily lost.

Biophilia and greenery play a pivotal role in elevating this office, enhancing both the sense of calm and wellbeing while adding rich textural interest. This creates a space that feels less like just a workplace and more like an inviting destination office experience. Spacestor’s planters are an integral part of this, strategically placed throughout the office to offer lush greenery, ample storage, and integrated bins, all contributing to the office’s harmonious and functional design.

Also ideal for this space, we could assist in creating more individual and small group spaces with products from the Portals range, including both Portals Huddle and Portals Quiet. These were customized in a distinctive green finish with a warm, neutral upholstered interior, seamlessly blending into the space as though they were built in, yet offering the flexibility and future-proofing of easy relocation. The Portals Quiet, featuring height-adjustable tables, allow employees to work in the most comfortable positions, optimizing both comfort and productivity.

The design of these offices is centred around soothing greens and cozy finishes, offering a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that’s a far cry from the usual white-and-grey office vibe. Vibrant pops of orange and blue add a playful touch, while light wood textures, oversized lampshades, soft curtains, and an abundance of natural light streaming through large windows come together to create a space that’s as inviting as it is inspiring.

Complementing this are the top-notch facilities available to employees, including a sleek bathroom with an added shower, and a vibrant kitchen/canteen area featuring colourful countertops and barstools, all set in a bright and airy atmosphere that makes it a perfect space to unwind or recharge.
