Spacestor were pleased to partner with Overbury to provide a wide variety of our products, customised to fit seamlessly into the design of the office, and which work together perfectly in bringing a harmonious look and feel throughout the space.
Our Portals Quiet product, in three different variations, was chosen. It allows employees choice in their zone of work, to maximize their productivity, as well as acknowledging the need for different work areas to complete different tasks. The Portals Quiet Standing give the opportunity to have a change of scenery, or quickly join a virtual meeting, as well as being a more considerate option for colleagues, with provision for different working postures is catered for. The BYO Chair Portals Quiet mean colleagues can bring an ergonomic task chair to ensure comfort and the best seating position for the individual, ideal for longer tasks which need focus and privacy. The final variation of Portals Quiet specified on this project was the Built-in Seat, bringing a pod that users can jump into quickly and utilise for calls, focused work, or just to get away from distractions around.
There are around 180 desks in this workspace, and for this number of employees, it is necessary to have sufficient personal storage. Our HotLocker Forte was the ideal choice for this, with the ability to be customized to the exact size and finishes required, and a wide range of lock types to choose from.
The new workspace is more than just an office space, with plenty of unwinding and social space and a large kitchen and canteen area, encouraging chance encounters with all members of the team. A client suite also allows those they are working with to feel valued, enhancing meaningful relationships.
Other supportive facilities include a wellbeing and prayer room, demonstrating the priorities of the company for the wellbeing of colleagues, as well as how the business is committed to inclusion and diversity.
This new location is truly one that colleagues can be proud of, embracing the local inclusive culture of community, creating an inviting space with a range of workstations, which all came together beautifully in a compressed timeframe.
